WHAT WE ARE WORKING ON:      

Reformation 500               

To celebrate the 500th Anniversary commemorating

the Reformation, the Sunday School will be collecting

500 non-parishable food items to help the poor.

We are naming this challenge…

 ‘St. Luke’s Zion Community Chest       

We will be collecting non-parishable food items from Sept.10th until Reformation Sunday, Oct. 29th, 2017. If you would prefer to make a monetary donation please feel free to include it in your Sunday offering marked ‘Community Chest’. Thank You!   

Martin Luther and the Reformation Skit:

The Sunday School children will be performing a skit during the Children’s Message on October 29th, 2017.

The script is being edited and will be ready soon. 

REFORMATION SUNDAY LUNCHEON:

SLZ Sunday School is in the planning stage of a German Luncheon to celebrate the 500th  Anniversary of the Reformation on October 29th, 2017 following worship. We are looking for volunteers who would be willing to make a German dish for the pot-luck luncheon. If you are interested please speak to the Sunday School Staff.
