May Newsletter

Here we are starting May, our last month of Sunday School! April was a busy month, practicing for the Easter play.  We had a great practice on the 2^nd of April with a hot dog lunch hosted by Amanda & Candace.  The following Sunday, the children had a lot of fun, hunting for  Easter egg and then decorating their eggs with icing.  We enjoyed an Easter Movie with popcorn and drinks.  We have a lot of special thanks to go out: thanks Cindy for providing the Easter Movie;  thanks to Lorie and Silvana for making popcorn for the children for the movie; thank you to Tanya for supplying the koolaid for the movie; thank you Paulina for helping serve drinks & popcorn, thanks Diane for helping with costumes; thanks to Sid and Brian for ensuring the sound system was ready for our practices and final performance.  And a big thank you to our Sunday School staff who help make our school a success, Betty, Diane, Cindy, Ingrid and Darcy.  You are truly appreciated for your dedication and teamwork throughout the year!  We are planning an exciting picnic so mark it on your calendars and we hope to see you all there!!!

 Attention Sunday School Parents:

"Somebody has been in our classrooms and they are all messy" - Please note, our Sunday School teachers have supplies in their classroom that they are expecting to be there when they return the following Sunday.  They also leave their rooms neat and tidy between Sundays.  Please assist us in keeping our classrooms in order between Sundays. Since summer is around the corner, we would like to see the classrooms kept tidy while we are away as well.   We appreciate your help.  Thank you!

May 14 - "Happy Mother's Day" - The Sunday School Staff would like to attend the special Mother's Day service on Sunday

May 21  - NO SUNDAY SCHOOL - We would like to welcome the children to attend regular service.  We hope to see you at worship.  Have a Great Week!

Important Note:  Our Sunday School Picnic is scheduled for June 11^th.  Please let us know if you will be able to attend. Further details to follow.   We will be presenting Sunday School awards on this day and would love to see you all !!!
