What wonderful weather we are having….with the lack of snow though ….it is hard to believe that Christmas is just around the corner! But we will take it….one less month of snow is great! I would like to thank Betty once again for taking the time to round up all the supplies for the Advent Wreaths. Thank you to all the families who participated in making them….the Advent Wreaths are always a beautiful addition to our table. Don’t forget to light your candles and share the meaning of Advent with your children. Our Sunday school is in the midst of practicing their Christmas concert “It’s a Boy”. We only have a few weeks to practice so please try and attend as much as possible. Get ready for a fun-filled December to add to your already busy December calendar…..

- Sunday – December 6th: We will be practicing for the play during regular class. Please try and attend.

***Extra Event…..Bethlehem LIVE!GatewayChristianCommunityChurch invites you to experience an interactive living Nativity - all ages will enjoy the sights, smells & sounds of Bethlehem’s first Christmas. Tours are running every ½ hour continuously, admission is FREE! . Times:
Friday, December 11 12-3 pm (School Bus Tours)
Friday, December 11 6-9 pm
** Saturday, December 12 12-3 pm & 6-9 pm
Sunday, December 13 12-3pm
** We are looking at our church attending Saturday, December 12th at 6:00pm. Please advise if you are interested in attending. See Val
- Saturday – December 12th: Play practice at the church from 1:00pm til 2:30pm. Please RSVP if you cannot make the practice or if there is a better time to have the practice. We would like as many there as possible.
- Sunday – December 13th: We will be practicing for the play during regular class. Please try and attend.
Sunday – December 20th “Christmas Concert Dress Rehearsal”
- We will be having a dress rehearsal from 1:00pm till 2:30pm. Please let Val know if you can attend.
Sunday – December 20th “Christmas Party & Christmas Concert”
· Children’s Christmas Party after church from 12:00pm till 1:00pm. All Sunday school children are invited to bring a wrapped gift for approximately $5.00 (Please try not to forget!) “This will be a Kodak Moment” with a special guest. Sunday School parents are invited to bring drinks, sandwiches, fruit, veggies, cheese, etc for the party. Sign up sheet will be available. Please let Val know if you will be attending by December 5th at 224-3558 or email.
· Christmas Concert – The Sunday school students will be performing their Christmas Concert “It’s a Boy!”. Please arrive at 6:15pm sharp. Sunday school parents are welcome to bring dainties for fellowship after the concert.
Last Sunday School Class is December 20tht, 2009 and we will see you back on January 10th, 2009….We hope to see you in church during your holiday. Have a safe holiday!
