ALPHA ALUMNI! – Note change of date!
All former Alpha attendees please mark your calendar for Saturday, November 1st as we are planning to have a reunion for all who have attended the Alpha program in the past whether that was at the Haabs or at our places (Gunns/Rumleys). The event will happen at St. Luke’s Zion.
We are planning a Saturday morning brunch (10:30) with fellowship and discussion to take place during and after (probably until 1:30 or 2:00 p.m.) One does not have to bring anything just let us know you’ll be coming. If you’d like to help in the preparations, etc., please talk to Bill/Teresa (334-2260) or Betty/Bob (334‑6121).
For those who brought friends from outside of the congregation to the Alpha sessions please let them know that they are welcomed to be part of this and assure them that this is not a membership drive.
There will be open discussion and fellowship.
Please note: All are welcomed to attend. If you have never attended an Alpha function before but would like to, you will be welcomed as our guests. You don’t need to bring anything just let us know your coming.
BILLIOUS POND UPDATE!
We will be playing at Elim Ba;ptist Church in Beausejour on Sunday evening October 26th at 7p.m. We also have been invited back to King Edward School on Saturday, December 6th to provide music for the “Breakfast with Santa” event hosted by the school and the parent committee. We performed there last year and had a great time not only playing a lot of country and folk style songs but some great gospel songs and a number of Christmas carols. On behalf of the group we thank the many of you who have lifted us up in prayer.
In Christ’s love,
Bill
