THANK YOU:

This year I was very fortunate to go to CLAY 2018 with the MNO Youth group. It was an amazing experience for me starting with the flight to Toronto, going up the CN Tower, the Sky Train, Canada’s Wonderland, and the bus trip to CLAY Thunder Bay and the CLAY Gathering and sleep. Along the way we spent 2 nights at St. Paul’s Evangelical Church in Niagara Falls and 1 night at Zion Evangelical Church in Sioux St. Marie and from there to Thunder Bay where we stayed at the Lakehead University in dorms.

The CLAY Gathering experience was awesome. I really enjoyed meeting youth from all across Canada. I am blessed to have met many new friends which I intend to stay in touch with. Spending this week together, our SLAW group got to know each other better and we did our best to support each other and had a great time. The activities at CLAY were well planned and the ‘app’ made finding places and planning very easy.

The Worship, the Large & small Group gatherings, the story time groups, the games, the mingling and the free time all inspired me in some way. I learned a lot about myself and feel I have grown closer to God during this time.  I have a new outlook on life which I am very excited about.

I am very thankful that I had the opportunity to go on this trip and I would like to thank everyone for their support which made this trip possible; Thank you to  Lisa and the leaders for their support and guidance; Thank you to all the youth for your stories, jokes and your friendship. It was amazing and I’m super thankful. I am looking forward to the CLAY 2020 gathering which will be held in Calgary.

Thank you all again for your prayers and support

I really appreciate it.

~ Thera Goertzen
