A one-day practicum entitled "Turning our Church Right Side Up: Revitalizing Congregations in Mission and Stewardship" will be held on Saturday, May 26th from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Those who are interested in attending should speak to Laurel Armstrong by Sunday, May 6th to register. The event will be held at Canadian Mennonite University at 500 Shaftsbury Blvd in Winnipeg. More details are available on the MNO Synod website at www.mnosynod.org.
ST. LUKE'S ZION YARD SALE
Those interested in being part of a planning group for this year's yard sale are asked to contact Rolf Salfert. A tentative date for the sale is Saturday, June 9th. Those who have items to donate for the sale are asked to keep those items at home until the week immediately prior to the sale.
THANK YOU to all of the Sunday School teachers and students for all of their hard work on this year's Easter play, "Morning Glory." A special thank you to Superintendent Val Kunkel for organizing the play. It is much appreciated!
We also thank the Sunday School for the wonderful "Breakfast in Galilee" which we all greatly enjoyed following the service. Thank you to all the cooks, cleaners and helpers. You are appreciated!
THANK YOU to the cooks for our "Fabulous Easter Breakfast" and for cleaning up too. Gentlemen, we truly appreciate you!

Poet's Corner
A Journey lit with the spark of childhood is on the back of the calendar. A teacher at West St. Paul School wrote it and she has given permission for it to be included in our newsletter. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
