If you are interested in getting information on becoming a member of the Luther Home Corporation please contact Linda Kostiuk at 204-633-8635 (message can be left). I can provide you with a Membership Declaration form.
We are seeking those residents of Manitoba of legal age interested in furthering the Vision and Mission of Luther Home Corporation as a private, not-for-profit, faith-based organization.
The corporation manages a personal care home, 2 apartment buildings which include some mobility suites, a group home, and an adult day program.
As a Corporate Member you would receive regular communications and information regarding the annual general meeting, which is usually held in the afternoon of the last Sunday in October. You would be eligible to vote at the annual general meeting.
To become a Corporation Member you must reside in the province of Manitoba, be of legal age and not be a staff member of Luther Home.
There is no membership fee.
We are also recruiting Board Members. If you are interested, please submit a “letter of interest”, outlining your area of expertise, to the Nomination Committee at Luther Home, 1081 Andrews St., Winnipeg, MB R2V 2G9

NEST Annual Meeting will be held on
Tuesday, April 28, 2015 at 7:00 pm.
Hosted by St. Luke’s Zion Lutheran Church.
Pastor Lynne will give the opening welcome from the congregation.
The agenda will include:
*Annual report from chairperson Pastor Annemarie MacIntosh who will also have the opening devotions.
*Election of executives (nominations have been made and also accepted from the floor).
*Guest Speaker Dr. James Creswell PhD from Booth University College, Winnipeg. His topic will be “SPIRITED CITIZENSHIP PARTNERSHIP PROJECT” (Salvation Army).
*Guests: the pleasant KOBWA family; mother, 2 grown teenagers and 2 cousins. They are originally from the Congo and speak English & French, working and attending schools.
Refreshments follow! All Welcome!!!
NEST Potluck Supper will be held on Sunday, May 3rd at 5:00 p.m. at Kildonan United Church, 187 Kilbride Avenue.
