OUTREACH: BILLIOUS POND
In April we had two appearances that we made. The 1st was in Winkler (Apr. 1st ) where along with another group we performed for over 400 people. The 2nd was at the Ellice Theatre on April 22nd appearing before approximately 60 people. After a rocky start (something beyond our control) things did eventually come together and all and all we believe it was an enjoyable evening for all that attended. We'd like to extend a special "Thank You" to Jamie for joining us at the Ellice Theatre and for playing bass for us. Jamie also did a set of her own music, which was well received. A freewill offering raised $305.27 (plus 3 small chocolate eggs) and this was given to New Life Ministries less the chocolate eggs (unfortunately they did not survive the weekend).
Billious Pond will be appearing at the Manitoba Gospel Jamboree in Beausejour and also at the St. Laurent Gospel Festival this summer. When we have the exact dates and times we will let you know.
Are you still wondering why Billious Pond??

Poet's Corner
M - O - T - H - E - R
"M" is for the million things she gave me,
"O" means only that she's growing old,
"T" is for the tears she shed to save me,
"H" is for her heart of purest gold;
"E" is for her eyes, with love-light shining,
"R" means right, and right she'll always be,
Put them all together, they spell
"MOTHER,"
A word that means the world to me.

Wait patiently
