Sunday School Easter Play

 The Sunday School will share the Easter story with us during worship on Sunday, April 29th (the fourth Sunday of Easter). A brunch hosted by the Sunday School will follow the service that day. All are welcome!
 
                                       
 Seminary Dinner
 
Lutheran Theological Seminary Saskatoon is hosting a complimentary supper on April 14, 2012 at 5:30 pm at the Holy Eucharist Parish Centre (on Munroe Ave). This is part of the “faithful for the future” campaign that seeks to provide for the future of the seminary. Anybody who is interested in hearing about or supporting the seminary is welcome to attend.

NEST 26th annual meeting is Tuesday, April 24th, 2012 at 7p.m. at GraceLutheranChurch located at 211 Kimberley Avenue, Fireside Room. There will be refreshments and all are welcome.
 
Our upcoming fundraiser will be The Winnipeg Male Chorus concert @ ChristLutheranChurch, 815 Inkster Blvd. @ Sinclair St. on Friday, April 3th,2012 7 p.m. Tickets are 10.00 each. Available from Dorothy Handkamer and at the door. We would like to see the church filled. It makes it more enjoyable for the Choir as well as the audience. These are very important fundraisers for NEST. Beginning Experience (BE) is a non-profit, peer support grief resolution program helping single-again persons deal with the natural grief process and offers an opportunity for turning pain from loss into an experience of positive growth. Program offers 10 week sessions, 3 times per year as well as two retreat weekends for adults.

 CONVENTION BANQUET
 
Even if you are not a registered delegate or visitor to convention you are still welcome to attend the convention banquet on Saturday, April 28th at 5:30 p.m. at the Brokenhead River Recreational Complex in Beausejour. Tickets can be purchased at $35.00 through the synod office prior to April 10th.
 
The evening will include good food, fellowship and entertainment in celebration of the 25th anniversary of the MNO Synod. Registered delegates and visitors will receive a complimentary banquet ticket only if they have indicated on their registration form that they will be attending the banquet. If you indicated on your registration form that you will not be attending the banquet, but now wish to attend, please contact the synod office before April 10th.
