COMING EVENTS:

Altar Boyz
Since its off-Broadway debut in 2004, Altar Boyz has been delighting audiences and reviewers of all ages with its sharp parody, tuneful songs and irreverent humour. This boy band musical has a delightfully simple premise – it is trying to save souls, one screaming fan at a time. The show is light hearted fun for audiences of all denominations. Now Altar Boyz, the hit of Winnipeg’s 2009 Fringe Festival, hits the Prairie Theatre mainstage from February 22 to March 11. Tickets range from $25 to $45,
andare available by calling 925-5269 or online at www.pte.mb.ca

Ladies Group

Ladies Group will be having a Bible Study on Saturday, March 24. Please meet at Laurel Armstrong's. Our habit is to gather at 10:30 - 11:00 for our study, then we will break for lunch and fellowship. Bring a sandwich; coffee / tea and desert will be provided. All ladies are welcome.

World Day of Prayer is Friday March 2 at 7:30, taking place at St Anthony of Padua church on Burrin and Aikens. There are plans to get together for supper that evening as well. All ladies are welcome.

You Visited Me…
On Tuesday, March 20th, a joint Lutheran-Anglican gathering will focus on those who have been impacted by prisons: ex-offenders, volunteer visitors, and families of those who are incarcerated. This gathering will take place at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church (600 Cambridge St.) from 4:30 to 8:45 pm and includes a free meal. Music will be provided by Billious Pond. Those attending are asked to RSVP to Pastor Ken Kuhn byMarch,13th at 885-2821 or kenkuhn@mts.net.

Birthday Sunday

On Sunday, March 11th we will be celebrating Winnie Gorner’s 105th birthday. The ladies’ group would also like to make this an annual celebration of all birthdays. A pot-luck lunch will be held following worship on March 11th. All are invited, and all are welcome!
Winnie has requested “no fuss, no gifts, and no cards!” For those who insist on bringing something, she would be most pleased with a donation to the food bank. Thank you!

TRINITY FOOD PANTRY

Trinity Food Pantry had a good year in donations for the Christmas Season. This
will enhance the +50 hampers we pack
each month and the meals we serve. We
are always concerned that our clients have good protein options in their hampers. It
also makes it possible to include hams for hampers at Easter. We anticipate an increase in the number clients in the coming year.
Our positive financial situation will make
it possible to get through the summer months when donations of food are down. Thank
you for your generous support.
