ST. LUKE'S ZION ANNUAL MEETING

Our annual meeting will be held on Sunday, February 12^th after the service.  We will enjoy a potluck lunch first and then begin our meeting.

Wednesday evening Lenten services will begin on Wednesday, March 1st All services are at 7:30 p.m.

 

 

 

 

 

 SCRAPBOOKING

Creative Memories will be hosting a Workshop for "Big Kids" On February 21, 6:30 - 10:30 p.m.  This will be a Border Workshop.  The Challenge?To see how many Borders and Journaling Boxes you can make in 4 hours.  The cost is $10.00.  Location is St. Luke's Zion Church.

Creative Memories will be hosting a Workshop for Parent/Grandparent and Child on February 26, 2:00 - 4:00 p.m.  Come and make memories with your child.  Learn how to preserve those memories and document them.  The cost is $10 per couple.  Location is St. Luke's Zion Church.

A healthy body is my desire

A healthy person I have to be

 

But more than that

   I need a healthy spirit.

With the prophet, I cry:

Listen, my friend.

   what you are searching for

    It cannot be bought.

    Deep within your soul

   Deep within your relationship with your creator

    With your God.

 

You will find the answer to you search

     In the word of repentance and forgiveness

     In the deeds of kindness and love

      In the touch of a comforting hand.

 

Act upon them.

 

The wise man declares

   "Kind words like honey are sweet to the taste and good for your health."

    "Cheerful words are music to the soul."

 

These words of the Lord will be the answer to your cry.

These words will bring healing to your soul.

?      The ladies of the church have cast off clothing of every kind, and they can be seen in the church basement Friday afternoon.

 

?      On Sunday a special collection will be taken to defray the expense of the new carpet.  All those wishing to do something on the carpet will please come forward to get a piece of paper.
