Poet's Corner
The First Advent Candle - the candle of hope - was lit last week. It brought to mind a poem sent to me and written by Esther Haab. The Poem is entitled: HOPE. Following are a few lines from that poem: Hope is like the rain as it falls on parched ground. Or like a person who was trapped, but is now unbound. Hope is like the first dancing butterflies Or like a mother singing gentle lullabies. Hope is like spring when new leaves unfurl Or like a beautiful new found pearl. For me hope is the Lord's people together Praising God and enjoying each other.
