A Note from Pastor Lynne

First, I thank my God through Jesus Christ for all of you (Rom. 1:8).

It has been amazing to me how many offers of help I have had both prior to surgery and during my recovery.  In fact, I have had more offers than I have been able to use so far!  Some have brought food.  Some have contacted me every so often to see if I need anything.  Some have texted or messaged me just to make sure that I am still alive and well.  Some have shovelled snow or have offered shovelling when needed.  And I know that many people have been praying for me.

          Thank you for your prayers.  Thank you for your offers of help.  Thank you for respecting my need to rest and not phoning all the time J.

          As I write this, it has not yet been two weeks since surgery.  While I have already seen improvements, a full recovery will take much longer.  I hope to be at worship on Sunday, February 10th.  That will be not quite four weeks, but hopefully I will be able to have a gradual return to work.

          In the meantime, thank you for your continued prayers and expressions of care.  It is much appreciated, as are all of you!
