WORSHIP IN THE PARK – AUGUST 7th, 2016
On Sunday, August 7th, we will join together with Abundant Life and Sherwood Park Lutheran Churches in order to bless and send our youth to CLAY 2016 in Charlottetown, PEI. Instead of gathering at our own churches, we will worship together at 12:30 pm at Kildonan Park. A map will be provided so you know where to go! A barbecue will follow the worship service.
***For this particular Sunday, help will be needed on a number of different fronts. We need somebody with a truck to transport the BBQ from St. Luke’s Zion to the park. We may need some “shuttle drivers” to pick people up at the parking lots in the park and bring them to our worship location. We will need one or two people to look after the offering for SLZ. And some people might be asked to bring food, as well. If you are able and willing to help with any of these things, please let Pastor Lynne know! Also, there will be some games for children, so don’t hesitate to bring all ages!

We have a unique opportunity to serve the Lutheran Theological Seminary in Saskatoon. The seminary is in need of a "spruce up", as well as an opportunity to share its ministry with MNO Synod, one of its owners. We are looking for workers (youth and adults alike) who would be willing to journey with us to Saskatoon for a few days at the end of August. If you have a passion for painting and light maintenance, let's take the journey together.
