Have you registered for youth or family camp? We have room left in some weeks.

Check out our Vacancy Report on our website (there’s one for cabins http://luthervillage.ca/cabinvacancy.html and one for the campground http://luthervillage.ca/campgroundvacancy.html) to see what’s available, then call and register time for your week at Family Camp. Or send in a registration form for your child, grandchild, niece, nephew, neighbor, friend… http://luthervillage.ca/register.html

The Luther Village Board is looking for committee members, not as board members, to serve on the Program, Fundraising and Property committees. Are you willing to serve on a committee and to be involved with making things happen at/for Luther Village? We would love to have our community involved in some of the exciting things we have planned / are brainstorming for LV. Let Kim (kim@luthervillage.ca or Dale know (board@luthervillage.ca).

WORSHIP IN THE PARK – AUGUST 7th, 2016

On Sunday, August 7th, we will join together with Abundant Life and Sherwood Park Lutheran Churches in order to bless and send our youth to CLAY 2016 in Charlottetown, PEI.  Instead of gathering at our own churches, we will worship together at 12:30 pm at Kildonan Park.  A map will be provided so you know where to go!  A barbecue will follow the worship service.

***For this particular Sunday, help will be needed on a number of different fronts.  We need somebody with a truck to transport the BBQ from St. Luke’s Zion to the park.  We may need some “shuttle drivers” to pick people up at the parking lots in the park and bring them to our worship location.  We will need one or two people to look after the offering for SLZ.  And some people might be asked to bring food, as well.  If you are able and willing to help with any of these things, please let Pastor Lynne know!  Also, there will be some games for children, so don’t hesitate to bring all ages!

Sending Service details:

Joint service with Sherwood Park and Abundant Life - Service with communion  at Kildonan Park  at 12:30 pm

Please Bring a Lawn chair/ blanket to sit on - Service followed by a “shared community” BBQ - Please bring a salad or dessert to share

MNO Synod Mission Trip 2016: August 26th – 30th

We have a unique opportunity to serve the Lutheran Theological Seminary in Saskatoon. The seminary is in need of a "spruce up", as well as an opportunity to share its ministry with MNO Synod, one of its owners. We are looking for workers (youth and adults alike) who would be willing to journey with us to Saskatoon for a few days at the end of August. If you have a passion for painting and light maintenance, let's take the journey together.

Join Bishop Elaine and others for a few days to make a difference.
A registration form will be available on the synod website soon.
